An established financial markets organisation is evolving its Fixed Income technology landscape through a long-term platform enhancement programme. This role focuses on developing real-time, high-performance applications that support key trading workflows across Rates and Credit. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions designed for long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Build modern, real-time, high-performance microservices supporting core Rates and Credit trading workflows

* Design and deliver end-to-end solutions in collaboration with engineers across the technology stack

* Work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand trading processes, and deliver impactful features

* Contribute to the development of a scalable, maintainable, and operationally efficient platform

Key Requirements *Experience of UI constraints; strong experience with React and TypeScript
* Strong understanding of Java fundamentals, including OOP, collections, exception handling, and concurrency

* Experience with microservice architectures and event-driven systems

* Proven experience designing and building RESTful and event-driven APIs

* Working knowledge of SQL and relational database design

* Exposure to containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes

* Experience with reactive programming models
