Business Development Manager
Location: Slough or Manchester (UK)
£50-55K plus Bonus.
The Role
A growth-focused organisation is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to generate new revenue and expand existing client relationships.
Reporting to senior commercial leadership, you will identify opportunities, close new business, and drive long-term customer value.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop and secure new revenue opportunities
*Grow and retain existing accounts
*Build forecasts and execute strategic sales plans
*Deliver presentations and close business with decision-makers
*Manage pipeline, forecasting, and activity through CRM
*Prospect via cold outreach, online research, campaigns, and trade shows
*Ensure strong post-sale satisfaction and relationship management
What We’re Looking For
*3+ years of commercial or sales experience
*Background in technology or logistics is highly desirable
*Strong communication and presentation skills
*Organised, detail-oriented, and solution-focused
*Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
*Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems
*Willingness to travel as required
*Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
