Job Description:
Manufacturing Operator
Pay Rate: £12.95 per hour
Location: Warrington
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
This role will be initially temporary with the look to go permanent for the right candidate
About the Role A hands-on role within a busy packaging and production environment, ensuring products are safely, accurately and professionally packaged, labelled and quality-checked before distribution.
Responsibilities *Assemble packaging materials including boxes, inserts and labels
*Apply accurate product, safety and regulatory labels
*Carry out quality checks to ensure packaging meets required standards
*Identify and correct defects or inconsistencies
*Complete required documentation and follow SOPs
*Maintain a clean, safe and compliant working area
*Perform manual handling tasks and follow all safety guidance
Skills & Competencies *Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
*Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
*Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
*Able to work independently and as part of a team
*Flexible, willing to learn and adaptable to workload demands
*Strong communication and problem-solving skills
*Awareness of COSHH
*High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent
*Minimum 1 year in manufacturing, production, operations or laboratory work.
*Preferred: cGMP experience, cleanroom experience, handling hazardous materials
Work Environment *Manual handling required
*May involve working with hazardous materials
*PPE provided
*Fully on-site role
