We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, international business with operations across the UK, Europe, USA and Asia. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a commercially focused Management Accountant to support the Group Financial Controller and provide high-quality financial insight to drive business performance. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial and management information to support strategic decision-making across the Group. This is a hands-on role combining management accounts production, financial analysis, cost control and process improvement.
Management Accountant – The Package:

Management Accountant – Responsibilities:
*Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
*Assist with corporation tax and year-end audit processes
*Process credit card statements and expense claims
*Produce monthly Group management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
*Identify and implement accounting system and process improvements
*Review cost centres and nominal ledger activity
*Provide ad hoc support to Purchase Ledger
*Assist with annual budgets and periodic reforecasts
*Support VAT return preparation
*Post journals including accruals and prepayments
*Collaborate with external auditors
Management Accountant – Person Spec:
*Minimum AAT Level 2 qualified (working towards Level 3 preferred)
*2–3 years’ experience in management accounting or financial analysis
*Strong understanding of management accounting principles
*Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
*Experience using ERP/accounting systems
*Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
*High attention to detail with adherence to deadlines
*Self-motivated, accountable and able to work independently
*Demonstrates integrity and discretion with sensitive data
