Mortgage and Protection Adviser
Salary: Up to £35,000 Basic, OTE £60,000-£80,000

About the Role and our Client Swarm Recruitment is recruiting a Mortgage and Protection Adviser for a well established whole-of-market mortgage firm, closely linked to a leading independent estate agency specialising in mid-to-high end residential properties across London and the South.
With a long-established reputation for property sales, lettings, and related services, this partnership allows advisers to work alongside a trusted estate agency brand, supporting clients who are buying, selling, upsizing, or refinancing their homes. The business has a strong heritage and commitment to professionalism, offering advisers the credibility and stability of an established brand combined with the expertise of a dedicated mortgage service.
You’ll benefit from a strong flow of high-quality leads, access to a 20+ year client back book and full administrative support, giving you an immediate platform to build and maintain a healthy pipeline. Work alongside motivated, proactive sales negotiators who assist with appointment booking, allowing you to focus on advising clients and growing your business in a collaborative, supportive environment. This role is ideal for a driven adviser who values quality leads, teamwork, and maximising earnings within a professional, well-resourced setup.


Salary & Benefits:
*Realistic first-year earnings of £60,000-£80,000
*£25,000–£35,000 basic salary plus £200 per month car allowance

Working Hours:
*Standard hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30am–6pm
*3 days a week in the office
*No weekend working required, however flexibility is expected to meet client needs


Desired Experience:
*Proven experience in mortgage advising is essential
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Proactive, driven and client-focused, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
*Excellent customer service skills
*Tenacious, resilient, and target-driven
*Fully CeMAP qualified or equivalent
*Minimum of 18 months’ experience as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser


Responsibilities & Duties:
*Handle new leads by phone and conduct initial fact-finding calls with clients
*Clearly explain options in line with FCA regulations and provide tailored advice
*Research the market to recommend the most suitable products
*Guide clients through the process from recommendation to application, ensuring documents and compliance checks are completed
*Prepare and send suitability letters and submit mortgage applications promptly
*Maintain regular contact with clients to support them throughout the process
