Registered Manager
Location: Croydon
Salary: £35 k
Contract Details: Full-time, Permanent
About the home
This home specialises in supporting people with mental health and/ or learning disabilities. They provide 24-hour accommodation and support for 13 residents in a homely environment. A majority of our service users have resided with the home for extended periods of time.
Responsibilities:
*Lead and manage a high-quality care service, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
*Foster a positive and engaging environment for both staff and service users.
*Develop, implement, and monitor personalized care plans.
*Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team of professionals.
*Maintain excellent relationships with families, stakeholders, and external agencies.
*Ensure all operational, financial, and quality targets are met consistently.
*Champion continuous improvement and best practices in care delivery.
What You Bring:
*Proven experience as a Registered Manager or in a similar role within the care sector.
*A valid registration with the relevant regulatory body.
*Outstanding leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional care.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Role Requirements :
*Have been a CQC Registered Manager for at least 2 years
*Experience in managing mental health care home settings
*Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using evidence based approaches
*Ability to supervise, teach and mentor unqualified Staff
*Knowledge of risk assessment and risk management
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Excellent people management skills, including supervision, appraisal and conflict resolution Ability to prioritise workload and delegate appropriately
