A welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Bexley is seeking an enthusiastic Food Technology specialist to join their Design & Technology department on a permanent or fixed-term basis.
About the Role
*Teach Food Preparation & Nutrition across KS3 and KS4
*Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that inspire a love of food, nutrition, and healthy living
*Create a safe and well-managed environment within the food technology kitchens
*Contribute to curriculum development and the wider DT faculty
*Participate in school initiatives, extracurricular activities, and whole-school events
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience teaching Food Technology in a UK secondary school
*Strong subject knowledge and a passion for practical, hands-on learning
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills
*Ability to motivate, challenge, and support students of all abilities
