Learning Support Assistant (SEMH Focus)
Reed Education – Secondary School, Milton Keynes
Full-Time | Long-Term | Start After the Easter Break
£90–£110 per day (experience dependent)
Reed Education are supporting a welcoming secondary school in Milton Keynes who are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant with a strong SEMH background to join their team after the Easter break. This is a full-time, long-term role offering consistency and the opportunity to make a real difference.
The Role
You’ll work closely with students who require additional SEMH support, delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions. Your support will help pupils regulate emotions, re-engage with learning, and build positive relationships throughout the school day.
Desirable Skills & Background
*Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs
*Experience in either mainstream schools or specialist SEMH provisions
*Confidence working with behavioural and emotional needs
*Understanding of behaviour regulation strategies
*Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
*Experience delivering 1:1 or small-group interventions
