Job Description:
Our client, a highly respected and well-established timber and builders merchant, is known for its excellent reputation in the construction supplies industry. Due to their continued growth and success, we are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an Internal Salesperson to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide exceptional customer service and process sales orders via phone, email, and in person.
*Manage a sales ledger, building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
*Offer expert advice on timber and building materials to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
*Proactively reach out to new and existing customers during quieter periods to generate new business opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate:
*A strong understanding of timber and building materials is essential, along with a solid knowledge of the construction supplies industry.
*Proven experience in internal sales or customer service roles is preferred.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to identify sales opportunities.
In Return, You’ll Receive:
*Competitive salary up to £37,000 (dependent on experience)
*Performance-related bonus scheme
*Monday to Friday and alternative Saturday mornings (averaging 44.5 hours a week)
