Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to lead the sales team for the Southern Europe region (FR, ES, IT) to develop and implement a sales strategy for the region that yields a sustainable competitive advantage that translates into continued growth and profitability that is consistent with the Company’s strategic sales plan. It will also incorporate remote leadership and development within the MENA and SEA region. The holder will have a thorough understanding of the Company’s products, services and capabilities and can coordinate the efforts of the region’s sales team to effectively serve our customers. They will provide strategic leadership in implementing the region’s overall sales strategy, policies and procedures.
Duties:

*To follow health, safety and environmental guidelines and procedures in respect of personal and department activities.
*Achieve regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends; determine regional sales system improvements; implement change.
*Meet regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyse variances; initiate corrective actions.
*Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for Reseller Southern Europe in support of national objectives.
*Maintain and expand customer base by counselling sales teams; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
*Pricing and margin management – Strong management of market pricing and how to maximise willingness to pay. This will drive gross margin performance within the region
*Drive the Reseller sales team culture internally and externally.
*Manage Sales Managers and indirect reports where applicable.
*Report key performance indicators to Senior Management and Directors.
*Participate effectively as a key member of the senior management team.
*Travel within the designated sales territory as required.
*Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by the Managing Director.
Requirements:
*Demonstrable experience of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
*Demonstrable knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
*Demonstrable experience in customer success and / or account management, dynamic ways to improve / grow assigned clients.
*Results driven and able to schedule and manage multiple activities within set timelines
*Demonstrable experience of coaching and engaging others; able to impart knowledge to others effectively
