Job Description:
Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Materials Handler / Inventory Controller - Team Leader to support a team. The role is based in Norwich and is a highly successful company within their industry.
Key Responsibilities
*Handle, store, count, and distribute parts to manufacturing cells.
*Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
*Assist with stocktaking and inventory control.
*Follow defined processes and safety standards, including Standard Work Instructions and 5S.
*Train colleagues on processes as needed.
*Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
*Ensure inventory is well-presented and accessible for all team members.
Experience & Skills
*Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
*Familiarity with inventory systems and stock control.
*Counterbalance forklift experience is desirable but not essential.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office.
*Strong attention to detail and a "can-do" attitude.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
