Job Description:
Reed Finance are currently partnered with an established client in the Crawley area in the recruitment of an International Financial Accountant to support and oversee the financial operations of their organisation’s international entities. Reporting to the FD this role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across international accounting activities, including producing consolidated financial statements under both IFRS and US GAAP, managing tax obligations, and interfacing with third-party finance teams across multiple jurisdictions.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end UK consolidated financial reports for international entities.
*Manage and ensure compliance with international tax planning, filings, and transfer pricing regulations.
*Maintain adherence to international accounting standards—IFRS, GAAP—and local statutory requirements.
*Collaborate with external auditors and service providers on all international audits and filings.
*Ensure Local STAT to US GAAP differences are understood and reconciled.
*Support company secretarial offices with relevant updates and requests.
*Assist with payroll oversight for third-party processing of international entities.
*Maintain communication with global colleagues and frequently liaise with international offices.
*Undertake various ad hoc projects as required by the Finance Director.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
*Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) preferred.
*3–5 years’ experience in accounting with a strong emphasis on international finance.
*In-depth knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP and international tax regulations.
*Proven experience managing intercompany and currency transactions.
*Proficiency in advanced Excel and familiarity with international accounting systems.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of collaborating with global teams.
*High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
*Willingness to travel internationally when needed.
*Desirable: Background in transfer pricing and intercompany agreements, fluency in a foreign language, experience with Microsoft Dynamics (D365), and familiarity with Poland regulatory and local finance.
