The Opportunity:
I’m currently supporting a confidential client in the Newcastle area who is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join them on an initial 9-month fixed-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a busy, dynamic environment during an exciting period of change and project activity.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of UK office operations, providing high-level administrative and organisational support, and helping maintain a positive and efficient workplace culture.
What You’ll Be Doing:
In this hands-on and varied role, you will:
*Oversee day-to-day office management, facilities coordination, and supplier relationships
*Support compliance across Health & Safety, GDPR, risk assessments and operational standards
*Manage office budgets, expenditure tracking, and key documentation
*Organise local events, visitor management, and employee engagement activities
*Provide support on workplace projects, wellbeing initiatives, and emergency preparedness
*Ensure office equipment, layouts, meeting rooms and space allocations run smoothly
*Act as a key point of contact for internal teams, external partners, and onsite services
About You:
You’ll bring:
*Strong experience in office management or senior administration
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
*Confidence working independently and prioritising in a fast-paced environment
*A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to high standards
*Strong IT skills across MS Office and a keen eye for detail
