Job Description:
We are working with our large, national client to recruit a permanent Employee Relations Advisor to be based in the North East. The role will work as part of the HR team and partner with stakeholders at all levels to drive an effective, first-class HR and ER service.
Reporting to the HR Lead main responsibilities include:
*Lead Employee Relations case management and work as a coach to support line managers and provide guidance on Disciplinary and Grievance issues.
*Proactive management of grievance situations, providing mediation where necessary.
*Manage and develop policies and procedures in accordance with legislation.
*Prepare documents and paperwork for all ER-related activity.
*Propose recommendations based on Disciplinary and Grievance outcomes to the Senior Leadership Team.
*Attend Disciplinary Hearings, Appeals and Tribunals when required.
*Partner and develop effective working relationships with the management team to drive continuous improvement and support change initiatives across the organisation.
*Work as part of the HR Team to ensure the successful development and delivery of the People Strategy.
*Manage ER and HR related projects.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of delivering a high standard of HR service ideally from within a large, commercial environment. You will have demonstrable experience at the HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor level and be proactive and confident in dealing with varied employee matters as well as supporting other HR initiatives.
The role supports agile, hybrid working. There will be regular regional travel and occasional national travel required.
