We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to work for a successful and growing SME based in Colchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional looking to make a real impact in supporting with financial reporting, controls, and the commercial performance of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare monthly management accounts and provide financial analysis.
*Support budgeting and cashflow forecasting.
*Monitor costs and drive efficiency improvements.
*Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset register.
*Manage VAT returns and indirect tax compliance.
*Overseeing bank reconciliations and cash reporting.
*Support year-end close and statutory reporting.
Skills & Experience:
*ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified or qualified by experience – with relevant work experience.
*Experience in a working within a SME environment
*Strong knowledge of management accounts
*Experience with cloud accounting systems
