Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working on behalf of a Leeds-based client to recruit an experienced Management Accountant on a temporary ongoing basis.
This is a varied, hands-on role, you will be responsible for producing management accounts, supporting forecasting and cashflow reporting, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts and management information
*Producing consolidated reports with commentary
*Creating and maintaining forecasts, including cashflow forecasting
*Bank reconciliations and daily cash postings
*Inter-company reconciliations and reporting
*Supporting sales and purchase ledger activities
*Preparing VAT returns and assisting with wider HMRC processes
*Supporting statutory accounts preparation and audit processes
*Reviewing financial performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities
*Contributing to improvements in financial systems and processes
About You:
*Previous experience in a Management Accountant role
*Strong technical accounting knowledge
*Confident preparing management accounts and forecasts
*Good Excel skills
*Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
