Job Description:
Long-Term Role | ASAP Start | Up to 1 Year
A secondary school in Bedford is seeking an inspiring and creative Drama Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible and running for up to one year.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a school with a supportive, hands-on Senior Leadership Team and a collaborative staff environment where the arts are valued as part of a broad and balanced curriculum.
The Role: * Teaching Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4

* Planning and delivering engaging, practical and theory-based lessons

* Encouraging creativity, confidence and performance skills

* Preparing students for assessments and performances

* Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and participation

The Ideal Candidate Will: * Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

* Have proven UK teaching experience, ideally within secondary education

* Have experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4

* Be confident leading practical lessons and productions

* Bring energy, creativity and strong classroom management skills

Essential Requirements: * Right to Work in the UK

* UK teaching experience
