Senior Credit Controller

My client is seeking a Senior Credit Controller to join their dynamic finance team during an exciting period of transformation.
This is a pivotal role for a proactive professional looking to take ownership of credit control, drive process improvements, and champion automation initiatives across a high-volume, fast-paced finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
*Take charge of overdue accounts, manage escalations, and resolve complex stakeholder and client queries.
*Oversee daily cash allocation and ensure unallocated payments are accurately processed.
*Produce insightful management reports and support month-end close activities.
*Drive process improvements and support finance transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
*Mentor and guide junior team members, providing leadership and coaching where needed.
*Build strong cross-business relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact for finance matters.
Requirements:
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in credit control, ideally in high-volume or property finance.
*Strong Excel skills; experience with finance or CRM systems desirable.
*Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
*Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
Other details:
Location: Office based in Tottenham Court Road 4 days per week, 1 day work from home per week
Working hours: Monday - Thursday 9am to 5.30pm, Friday 9am to 5pm
