HR/People Business Partner
Location: Milton Keynes
Full-time role / 3 days a week on-site
Salary - £50-£60k

Reporting to: HR Director

We’re supporting a professional services business to appoint a hands-on HR/People Business Partner. This is a true generalist role, combining end-to-end HR delivery with strategic people partnering, culture development and continuous improvement.

You’ll own core people processes, manage the HRIS, coach and support managers, and help deliver business-wide initiatives that positively impacts employee experience

Key Responsibilities
*Deliver the full employee lifecycle (recruitment admin, onboarding, contracts, performance, development and exits)
*Act as the first point of contact for people queries, ensuring compliant and well-run processes
*Own and operate the HRIS, ensuring accurate data, workflows and reporting
*Design and roll out people initiatives with clear communication and training
*Support leaders with coaching, decision-making and difficult conversations
*Use people insights to inform planning and anticipate workforce needs
*Contribute to business-wide projects and share best practice

About You:

Essential:
*Strong generalist HR/People Business Partner experience
*Confident with HR admin, systems, data and documentation
*Solid HRIS experience
*Excellent employment law knowledge and experience applying it pragmatically
*Experience supporting managers across hybrid/field roles
*Strong attention to detail, accountability and follow-through

Desirable:
*Background in professional services
*Experience across multiple business units
*Exposure to cultural change
*Change or systems implementation experience
