Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our well-established private dental practice. This role is for three days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) and offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment with access to modern, high-quality dental technology.
ROLE STARTS APRIL 1ST
We are a private practice operating on a monthly membership model, with treatments charged at BHS standard fees, allowing patients to access affordable care while maintaining high clinical standards. The practice uses Dentally as its clinical management software and is supported by a specialist Treatment Care Coordinator (TCO) to enhance patient communication and treatment uptake.
Our surgeries are fully equipped with in-house digital X-rays and a digital rotary systems, enabling efficient workflows, accurate diagnostics, and high-quality clinical outcomes.
The Associate Dentist will be responsible for providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care, diagnosing dental conditions, developing treatment plans, and performing a wide range of procedures with professionalism and precision.
Responsibilities
*Carry out comprehensive dental examinations and patient assessments.
*Diagnose dental conditions and develop individualised treatment plans.
*Provide preventive, restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and minor oral surgical treatments.
*Perform procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and general dentistry services.
*Utilise in-house digital X-rays and digital rotary systems while maintaining accurate clinical records using Dentally.
*Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
*Work collaboratively with the dental team, including the specialized TCO, to ensure patient conversion is high.
*Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and post-treatment care.
*Maintain professional development and stay current with advancements in dentistry.
Skills & Experience
*Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and infection control standards.
*Experience in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
*Excellent patient care, communication, and education skills.
*Competence in digital imaging systems and clinical documentation.
*Ability to work effectively within a team-based clinical environment.
*Previous experience working in a dental practice is highly desirable.
