Overview
We are seeking a detail-driven and commercially aware Pricing Analyst to join our client’s vibrant team in Leicestershire. This role is crucial in ensuring the business remains highly competitive within the market through accurate pricing, strong industry relationships, and proactive market analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with dealers, manufacturers, funders, marketing, and sales departments to deliver market-leading offers and pricing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Commercial Analysis
Update dealer and manufacturer terms on a weekly basis.
Analyse databases to create competitive offers and pricing campaigns.
Compare all manufacturer terms with funder terms to ensure the most competitive pricing in the market.
Identify pricing "wins" within funder ratebooks and quoting systems, communicating opportunities to the Marketing and Sales teams.
Analyse customer enquiries and trends around payment terms, mileage options, and manufacturers to develop optimal offerings.
Undertake and manage pricing-related projects.
Monitor and manage stock levels to support commercial decisions.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and manufacturers.
Support the Sales team in achieving advertised prices through expert pricing knowledge and understanding of funder terms.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis
Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed on competitive offers and industry trends.
Ensure advertised prices remain highly competitive and market-leading.
Marketing & Website Management
Work with the Marketing team to promote newly identified opportunities and winning prices.
Maintain and update the website and aggregator sites to ensure all rentals are accurate, valid, and up to date.
Promote funder Tactical Offers as soon as they are launched, ensuring we are first to market.
Manage pricing on the Affinity site, ensuring all rentals have correct terms applied and are available.
Compliance
Ensure all advertising adheres to FCA processes and best practices at all times.
