About the Role
This role is ideal for a graduate who is passionate about inclusive education, child development, or educational psychology. You will work closely with the SENCo, class teachers, and external professionals to support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND
*Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions
*Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
*Adapt classroom resources to meet individual learning needs
*Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies
*Monitor progress and contribute to review meetings
Person Specification
Essential:
*A recent undergraduate degree
*Empathy, patience, and resilience
*Strong communication skills
*Commitment to inclusive education
Desirable:
*Experience supporting children with SEND
*Interest in educational psychology, speech and language therapy, or teaching
*Training in behaviour support or safeguarding
