Job Description:
Axon Moore are supporting a business undergoing significant growth following private equity investment. They’re looking to appoint a Management Accountant who wants genuine ownership, variety, and the chance to broaden their commercial and technical skillset.
This role offers full end-to-end responsibility for the P&L across various entities, giving you real visibility and influence across the business.
A brilliant move for someone who wants to step out of a narrow month-end role and into a position with breadth, pace and commercial exposure. You’ll work closely with operational teams, support decision-making, and play a key role in shaping financial performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Full ownership of month-end processes including journals, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and depreciation
*Preparation of P&L, balance sheet, budgets and forecasts across multiple entities
*Producing month-end packs, financial statements and insightful reporting for senior stakeholders
*Managing commercial price changes and modelling the financial impact
*Supporting the year-end audit and ensuring compliance with financial controls
*Building strong relationships across operations, commercial and senior leadership teams
*Providing analysis on performance, variances, margins and cost drivers
*Supporting cashflow forecasting and working capital management
*Identifying process improvements and contributing to system and reporting enhancements
*Acting as a key finance contact for non-finance teams, helping drive better decision-making
What They’re Looking For
*Finalist or qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
*3–5 years’ experience across P&L, balance sheet, journals and reconciliations
*Strong understanding of double-entry, financial controls and month-end processes
*Confident communicator who enjoys partnering with non-finance teams
*Ambitious, proactive and keen to develop in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment
