Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Salary: £110.00 -£120.00 per day
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

We are working alongside a welcoming and inclusive specialist school in Oldham that is seeking a committed SEMH Behaviour Support Worker to join its experienced and supportive team. SEMH Behaviour Support Worker - Key Responsibilities
*Deliver one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
*Work closely with the class teacher to support learning activities, behaviour management, and targeted interventions
*Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and resilience throughout the school day
*Support the monitoring of pupil progress and maintain clear communication with staff and families
SEMH Behaviour Support Worker - Person Specification
*Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs (education, care, or youth settings)
*A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to behaviour support
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills
*A sound understanding of SEMH and SEND strategies
*A relevant qualification in education, care, or support is advantageous but not essential
SEMH Behaviour Support Worker - To Be Eligible You Must:
*Hold the Right to Work in the UK
*Have an enhanced child barred list DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
*Be able to provide two professional references (child-related preferred)
