Job Description:
Recruit UK are currently supporting an established and ever-growing financial planning firm in Guildford, looking for a Senior IFA Administrator to join their team following continued business growth.
This role would suit an experienced IFA administrator, comfortable operating at a senior level, contributing across administration, paraplanning support and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
*Act as a key point of contact for clients on behalf of Financial Advisers
*Process new business, account applications, transfers, policy changes, fund switches, and withdrawals
*Collate AML documentation and ensure business is processed in line with procedures
*Prepare valuations, meeting documentation, and reports
*Liaise with product providers and third parties
*Draft suitability reports across a range of advice areas using provided tools
*Carry out technical research on existing and recommended products, including fund analysis
*Ensure compliance and provider documentation is completed accurately and stored correctly
*Review workflows and check the quality of administration work
*Provide feedback and support to the Administration Manager
What We’re Looking For
*Minimum 4 years’ experience within IFA administration supporting Financial Advisers/Planners
*Level 4 Diploma qualified or working towards (desirable)
*Good knowledge of pension and investment propositions
*Experience using platforms and back-office systems (e.g., Intelligent Office or similar)
*High attention to detail
*Comfortable checking other people’s work
