About the Role:
As a Customs Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of goods across international borders. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of customs regulations, tariffs, and declarations.

Key Responsibilities:
*Preparing and submitting accurate customs declarations for imports and exports.
*Ensuring compliance with all relevant customs legislation and procedures.
*Calculating and processing duties, taxes, and other applicable charges.
*Liaising with customs authorities, clients, and internal departments.
*Providing expert advice on customs-related matters.
*Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in customs regulations.
*Resolving customs queries and issues efficiently.
About You:
*Proven experience as a Customs Specialist within a freight forwarding or logistics environment.
*In-depth knowledge of customs procedures, tariffs, and relevant legislation (e.g., HMRC regulations).
*Proficient in customs declaration software.
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Problem-solving aptitude.
