Legal Assistant - Family
Location: Leeds
Firm: Legal 500
Salary: £29,000
Working Pattern: Hybrid (2-3 days working from home)
A respected Legal 500 firm in Leeds is seeking a Legal Assistant to join its well-regarded Family team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work directly with Partners and gain hands-on experience in family law matters. Previous experience in family law is not required, as full training and support will be provided.
The Role:
* Providing legal and administrative support to Partners and fee earners
* Assisting with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
* Managing files and supporting matters from instruction through to completion
* Liaising with clients and third parties in a professional and empathetic manner
* Supporting the day-to-day running of the Family team
The Candidate:
* Previous experience in a legal support or administrative role is advantageous but not essential
* A genuine interest in Family law and a willingness to learn
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Professional, approachable and client-focused
