General Maintenance Operative
Location: Coventry
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: 25-30 hours per week, 3-5 days (between 9am-5pm)
Contract Type: Temp Ongoing
About the Role We are looking for a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Operative to support day-to-day upkeep across the site. This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone with broad maintenance experience and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities *Repairing and maintaining kitchen appliances
*Painting and general decorative improvements
*Replacing and repairing ceiling tiles/panels
*Carrying out basic electrical tasks (e.g., changing bulbs, minor fixes)
*Basic plumbing tasks (e.g., leaks, blockages, tap repairs)
*General site maintenance and ad-hoc repair duties
*Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
What We’re Looking For *Previous general maintenance or facilities experience
*Good all-round knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs
*Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
*Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
*Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Hours & Working Pattern *25-30 hours per week
*Flexible across 3-5 days
*Working between 9am-5pm, depending on workload and site requirements
