Job Description:
ACCOUNT MANAGER
An exciting opportunity to join a high-performance sales team in SW, London, focused on driving outbound growth for a leading annual multi-trade event attracting over 35,000 visitors and 350+ exhibitors. Working fully office-based in a lively, social environment in Wimbledon, you will play a key role in expanding the event’s reach across the UK, USA, Hong Kong, and Australia. Candidates must have a minimum of two years’ proven experience in business development and new business growth.

ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE:
*Converting CRM leads into confirmed sales of exhibition slots, maintaining a high conversion rate
*Following up on marketing-generated leads via proactive phone calls, prioritising calls before emails to build rapport and accelerate the sales process
*Identifying and developing new business opportunities by attending industry networking events, dinners, awards ceremonies and competitor trade shows to expand the client base
*Meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets and KPIs through strategic planning, persistent outreach and effective negotiation
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners and cross-functional teams, to enable smooth sales processes and long-term collaborations
*Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies
*Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and providing regular progress updates, pipeline status and forecasts to management
ACCOUNT MANAGER ESSENTIALS:
*Holding existing UK working rights
*Demonstrating excellent written and verbal English communication
*Bringing a proactive, can-do attitude
*Being highly engaging
*Showing excellent attention to detail
*Bringing at least two years’ sales or business development experience
*Being energetic, friendly and enthusiastic
*Learning quickly and adapting to new information
*Holding a valid passport for occasional international travel
