We are a small, passionate domiciliary care company based in Consett. As we build our service, we are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and experienced local people to join us and grow alongside our business.
We have part time bank roles available to include evenings and weekends (alternate weekends are fine) for regular hours (approx 8-10 per week)
There is some flexibility through the week but you must be available to work during school holiday hours and Bank holidays.
The service requires carers that live in the DH8 zone.
You must be able to drive and have access to a car.
Possibility of more hours as the service grows .
You will play a vital role in supporting individuals to remain safe, independent, and happy in their own homes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing personal care (washing, dressing, grooming).
Supporting clients with mobility and transfers (to include gentle exercise).
Preparing meals, helping with light household tasks.
Driving clients to appointments or social outings.
Following detailed, person-centred care plans.
Accurately recording care provided and reporting any concerns.
Offering companionship, emotional support and a good conversation.
A commitment to high standards and learning.
What We’re Looking For:

Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
Previous experience in home care or care home settings is preferred.
Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in written and spoken English to facilitate clear and regular communication.
Confident using IT for care records (training provided).
Must have a valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
You must be available to work evenings/ weekends, during school holiday hours and Bank holidays.
The service requires carers that live in the DH8 zone and you are on the DBS update system with an enhanced DBS.
