About the RoleAs a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting a team of Financial Advisers by delivering high-quality research, analysis, and suitability reports. You will work closely with advisers to ensure recommendations are technically sound, client-focused, and aligned with regulatory standards.
This position would suit someone with experience across pensions, investments, and protection products, ideally within an IFA or Wealth Management environment.
Key Responsibilities*Analyse clients’ financial situations, objectives, and risk profiles
*Conduct detailed research and technical analysis
*Prepare comprehensive recommendation and suitability reports
*Maintain accurate and compliant client records
*Liaise with Advisers to query and challenge proposed recommendations where appropriate
*Provide ongoing technical support across a broad range of financial planning areas
About You*Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English
*Diploma in Financial Planning (CII Level 4) attained or actively working towards
*Strong knowledge across pensions, investments, and protection
*Previous experience within an IFA or Wealth Management firm
*Highly organised with excellent analytical and report-writing skills
