Job Description:
Quest Search & Selection is currently recruiting for an HR Manager (3-month FTC) on behalf of a B2B global solutions business. This role will provide interim HR support to the business during a temporary period, ensuring continuity of HR operations and effective people management across the organisation.
This HR Manager role is focused on delivering day-to-day operational HR support, providing first-line advice and guidance to managers and employees on employee relations, policies, procedures, and people matters. The role ensures consistent application of internal policies, compliance with employment legislation, and adherence to HR best practice across the organisation.
Responsibilities of this HR Manager( 3months FTC) Position -
*Provide HR guidance on employment terms, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
*Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparation of documentation, inductions, and exit interviews.
*Lead and support a small HR team of three across HR, payroll, and administrative functions.
*Prepare and present monthly HR reports and key metrics to stakeholders.
*Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, and performance issues, liaising with legal advisors where necessary
*Maintain accurate records within the HRIS, ensuring data protection and reporting compliance.
*Support performance management processes, including appraisals and goal setting, while providing guidance and training to managers and employees.
*Coordinate and deliver training initiatives, manage related administration, and draft study agreements.
To be successful in this HR Manager( 3months FTC) Role:
*Having experience as an HR manager, HR Business Partner or Management capacity.
*Open to 3 months contract role with the potential of being extended or going perm
*Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and emerging HR best practices.
*Extensive stakeholder management experience, collaborating with both internal and external partners across the UK and Europe.
*Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing a small team.
*Experience working within a global or pan-European organisation.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
*A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or CIPD Level 5 is desirable but not essential.
