Desian Education is working in partnership with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Southport who are seeking committed and enthusiastic Early Teaching Assistants to support Early Years to Key Stage 2 classes for the summer term.
About the Role:
*Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning.
*Helping pupils develop core skills in communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal development.
*Assisting with activities, classroom organisation, and pupil well-being.
*Building strong relationships with young learners and creating a positive, nurturing learning environment.
We’re Looking For:
*Experience working in a school setting.
*A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
*A solid understanding of the national curriculum and child development.
*Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable.
