Job Description:
Desian Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive Reception class in a lovely Huyton primary school. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing individual support for a pupil with Autism, helping them thrive in a nurturing learning environment.
About the Role:
*Working closely with class teachers and SENCO to deliver tailored support for a pupil with Autism.
*Supporting the child’s learning, communication, and social development through structured interventions and day-to-day classroom activities.
*Helping to implement individual education and behaviour support plans.
*Creating a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
About You:
*Previous experience working with children with Autism or in an SEN setting (preferred).
*A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*A passion for supporting early years education and inclusive learning.
*Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 TA, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable.
