Desian Recruitment is excited to be working in partnership with a primary school in Birkenhead to find a dedicated part-time Early Years Teaching Assistant.
The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will work closely with the class teacher to provide a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
This is a part-time role 8.30am-12.30pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
*Supporting learning through play and structured activities
*Assisting with planning and delivering engaging lessons
*Helping to create a warm and nurturing classroom atmosphere
*Providing one-to-one or small group support where needed
*Monitoring and recording children’s progress and development
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience working with children in an Early Years setting (school or nursery)
*A caring and patient approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance) – desirable but not essential
*A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
