*Manage and oversee a portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals and business owners.
*Provide expert tax planning advice, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
*Prepare and review complex personal tax returns.
*Identify and implement tax-saving opportunities for clients.
*Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries promptly and professionally.
*Support and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
*Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations affecting private clients.
*Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive client services.
Profile
A successful Private Client Tax Manager should have:
*A recognised qualification in tax, such as ATT or CTA.
*Strong knowledge of UK personal tax legislation and compliance processes.
*Proven experience managing a portfolio of private clients.
*Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
*A proactive approach to identifying tax planning opportunities.
*Experience in Trusts, Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains tax.
