39 hours per week | Early finish Friday

Sarah McKenna HR Recruitment is partnering with Dyer to appoint a People Administrator into a newly created role within their People team.
This position has been created to strengthen the operational foundations of HR and enable the team to focus more strategically. It’s visible, varied and hands-on.
If you’re organised, detail-focused and serious about building a career in HR, this will give you meaningful experience across the full employee lifecycle.
Why this role exists
The People team supports a busy, operational engineering site. The pace is fast and expectations are high.
This role provides the structure and consistency that allows the People Partner to focus on partnering, culture and continuous improvement. You will play a key part in making that happen.
What you’ll be involved in
You’ll support across:
*Preparing contracts, variation letters and employment documentation
*Maintaining accurate employee records in line with GDPR
*Managing the HR inbox and responding to queries
*Supporting payroll administration and ensuring changes are processed accurately
*Coordinating onboarding and leaver processes
*Supporting recruitment administration and interview scheduling
*Attending meetings and taking accurate notes
*Maintaining confidential employee relations files
*Coordinating training activity and updating the training matrix
*Supporting HR reporting and process improvements
This is not simply an admin role, it offers genuine broad HR exposure.
What you’ll need
*Previous administration experience (HR experience desirable but not essential)
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Professional handling of confidential information
*Confidence communicating with managers and employees
*Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
*Genuine interest in progressing within HR
CIPD Level 3 is desirable. Support is available for the right person.
