Hours: Monday to Friday, Full Time
Overview We are recruiting for a skilled MIG Welder to join a specialist metal fabrication business in Coventry. The company produces high-quality architectural metalwork, bespoke steel fabrications, and custom-built metal structures, offering long-term career stability for the right person. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity within a growing, well-established engineering environment known for precision workmanship and high manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities *Carry out high-quality MIG welding on mild steel components and fabricated structures.
*Work from detailed engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and consistency on bespoke projects.
*Complete fabrication tasks including cutting, grinding, drilling, assembling, and finishing metalwork.
*Ensure all welds meet required quality, strength, and visual standards.
*Collaborate with the fabrication team to meet production schedules and support project deadlines.
*Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised work area in line with health & safety guidelines.
Requirements *Proven experience as a MIG Welder in an engineering, fabrication, or structural/architectural metalwork setting.
*Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings and fabrication schematics.
*Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality, precise welds.
*Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
*Reliable, punctual, and available for full-time Monday-Friday working hours.
