School Caretaker - Full Time
Temporary, approx. 4 weeks

DBS: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential
I am currently supporting a school in Newcastle who is seeking a reliable, proactive, and hands-on School Caretaker to support a busy educational setting.
This is a full-time temporary role, expected to last for approximately 4 weeks, with the potential for extension depending on school needs
Key Responsibilities
*Opening and securing the school site daily
*General maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the building and grounds
*Ensuring classrooms, corridors, and communal areas remain safe and tidy
*Supporting with health & safety checks and compliance tasks
*Liaising with staff, contractors, and external services
*Responding to urgent maintenance issues as they arise
Requirements
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service - essential
*Previous experience in a caretaker, site supervisor, or facilities role is desirable
*Strong practical skills and the ability to work independently
*Good communication and organisational abilities
*A positive, can-do attitude and commitment to maintaining a safe school environment
