Job Description:
A City-based firm is seeking an Employment Associate (1-5 PQE) to join its growing Employment team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a driven lawyer to work on a broad and high-quality caseload across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, acting exclusively for employer clients.

This is a London-based law firm with a long-standing presence in the West End, known for its blend of commercial and private client work. The firm provides practical, cost-effective legal advice across a wide range of practice areas, with recognised strengths in real estate, corporate, dispute resolution, family law, and a growing employment offering.
Description
*Advising employer clients on a wide range of employment law issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, redundancies, restructures, and day-to-day HR matters.
*Drafting employment contracts, consultancy agreements, policies, settlement agreements, and other HR documentation.
*Handling Employment Tribunal claims from instruction to hearing, including drafting pleadings and witness statements and managing disclosure.
*Providing employment support on corporate transactions, including due diligence and drafting warranties and indemnities.
*Assisting with sensitive matters such as senior exits, investigations, TUPE issues, and complex employment disputes.
*Building strong client relationships and contributing to the team’s business development efforts.
Profile
*UK-qualified solicitor with 1-5 years’ PQE in employment law; candidates slightly outside this range may also be considered.
*Solid experience advising employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
*Ability to manage a varied caseload with appropriate supervision.
*Strong drafting ability and a pragmatic, commercial mindset.
*Excellent communication skills and confidence in working with clients at all levels.
*A collaborative team player with enthusiasm for contributing to the growth of the practice.
