SEND Teaching Assistant - Meldreth (Near Royston)
£13.68-£14.03 per hour
Full-time | Term Time Only | 40 hrs (Mon-Fri)
Cambs / Herts Border
Join a specialist SEND school supporting students aged 6-19 with a range of needs including Autism, MLD, SLD, ADHD, sensory & physical difficulties and complex medical conditions. Incredible facilities, therapeutic support and a caring, dedicated team.
The Role
*Support students with complex and diverse learning needs
*Help deliver a personalised, meaningful curriculum
*Promote communication, independence and confidence
*Encourage emotional resilience and positive behaviour
*Work with teachers, therapists and multidisciplinary teams
*Support with personal care and physical interventions where needed
What You Need
*Willing to complete fully-funded training and qualifications
*Passionate about supporting young people
*Patient, caring and committed
*Positive, solution-focused and proactive
*Strong communication skills
*Happy to support community-based and outdoor learning
