Job Description:
SEND Teacher – Meldreth (Cambs/Herts Border)
£32,916-£49,232 + £5,000 Bonus
Full-time | Permanent | 40 hrs per week
Teach in a highly specialist SEND school supporting students aged 6-19 with PMLD, MLD, SLD, Autism, ADHD, sensory needs and complex medical conditions. Outstanding facilities and a strong therapeutic team on site.
The Role
*Deliver personalised, engaging lessons
*Adapt teaching for complex learning needs
*Create a safe, inclusive classroom
*Work closely with therapists & support staff
*Lead and guide classroom support
*Track progress & contribute to personalised plans
*Support with personal care/physical interventions as needed
What You Need
*PGCE / QTS is essential
*Strong SEN knowledge (sensory & complex needs)
*Confident planning & adapting curriculum
*Great communication + teamwork
*Reflective, resilient, student-focused
*Able to lead others effectively
