Finance Manager – Nottingham - Onsite

Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for a hands-on role within a successful and growing Nottingham business? My client is seeking a confident FM to lead the day-to-day finance function, manage a small team, and support the leadership team with strong financial insight and control.
The Role – Key Responsibilities
As the Finance Manager, you’ll oversee all core finance duties including:
*Full responsibility for monthly management accounts
*Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls
*Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
*Overseeing AP/AR and ensuring accurate ledgers
*Managing and developing the finance team
*Supporting year-end processes and liaising with external auditors
*Providing commentary, analysis, and decision-making support to senior leadership
*Driving efficiency and process improvement across finance operations
About You
We’re open to QBE (Qualified by Experience) applicants as well as those with formal accountancy qualifications. What matters most is your ability to:
*Confidently manage a team and a standalone finance function
*Communicate clearly at all levels
*Bring commercial awareness into day-to-day reporting
*Maintain accuracy, deadlines and good financial discipline
*Experience of working within a Manufacturing / Engineering environment
