Job Description:
.Pensions Administrator - upto 32k
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Pensions Administrator to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £32,000, depending on experience, and requires a strong background in Defined Benefit (DB) pensions administration.
Role & Responsibilities:
Defined Benefit:
*Calculate retirement quotes, leaver benefits, death benefits, and spouse’s benefits.
*Check transfer values and issue statements.
Defined Contribution (Optional):
*Calculate retirement quotes, leaver benefits, death benefits, and spouse’s benefits.
*Check transfer values.
Other Pensions Tasks:
*Run pension increases and process renewals.
*Manage trustee bank accounts and handle bulk mailings and calculations.
*Use standard letters and peer-check simple letters.
*Draft administration reports and ensure Compendia is up to date.
*Provide feedback on working practices and complete annual scheme returns.
*Identify upcoming NRDs and request valuation data.
General Tasks:
*Achieve SLAs, log work, and manage your own workload.
*Complete accurate timesheets and support seniors, Team Leaders, and Admin Managers.
*Take ownership of your development and carry out additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
*Minimum of 8 GCSEs, including Maths and English.
*A levels/degree would be advantageous.
*Willingness to study for professional exams such as APE, RPC, ADRP, CPC.
Knowledge, Experience, Skills:
*Experience in DB pensions administration is essential.
*Strong analytical skills with a logical approach to problem-solving.
*Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide constructive feedback.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and computerised administration systems.
