Job Description:
Job Title: Animal Care Lecturer
Location: South Yorkshire
Working Pattern: 37 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £25 – £30 per hour
Contract: Temp to perm opportunity
Requirements: Must be a qualified lecturer and able to teach Levels 1–3
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience delivering Animal Care curriculum at FE level
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, etc.)
Ability to teach both practical and theory sessions
Strong background in animal management or industry-related settings
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging, high-quality Animal Care lessons (Levels 1–3)
*Support learners in developing key vocational skills
*Teach both theory-based and practical sessions
*Maintain accurate records and contribute to departmental standards
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance learner experience
