Finance Assistant
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Manchester City Centre
Job Type: Full-time | Hybrid/Flexible working available - 3 days office 2 days at home
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our clients team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong financial administration skills who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is keen to develop their career.
Experience using Xero is essential. Financial reporting experience would be beneficial but is not required, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
*Maintain and update sales and purchase ledgers
*Prepare and process monthly sales invoices from the practice management system
*Record payments and receipts accurately
*Prepare remittance advice for ad-hoc payments
*Manage and reconcile company credit card transactions
*Process employee expenses
*Provide general administrative support to the business
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience in a finance or accounts support role
*Strong working knowledge of Xero (essential)
*Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
*Ability to work to deadlines
*Flexible and adaptable attitude
