Job Description:
We are working closely with a Hawes-based business to recruit an Accountant to their team. You will play a pivotal part in the team and will be part of a truly valued and collaborative business.
The role will include:
*Management of stock controls and reconciliations
*Oversight of retail sales in connection with other departments
*Month-end reporting and reconciliations
*Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts
*Support of budget preparation and forecast
*Management of contracts and leases
*Management of a small, developing team - target setting and performance review
*Interviewing and inducting new members of the finance team
*Course mentor for AAT Apprentice/s
Requirements/Experience:
*Part or qualified ACCA/CIMA, or with equivalent experience
*Confident with PC tools, especially advanced Excel and PowerPoint
*Curious, proactive, and self-motivated: you are at your best in fast-paced environments
*Meet deadlines and manage your workload effectively
*A good communicator, both in writing and in person
*Comfortable working independently and staying motivated without close supervision
*A team player who’s happy to collaborate and work towards shared goals
