Supporting our clients and team is really important to us, so we’re excited to expand our senior team to enhance this commitment even further. We are seeking either an experienced carer or someone with current senior-level experience. In this role, you will provide outstanding care to our clients while supporting and guiding our carers to maintain the highest standards of service, all with the full support from management and colleagues. Key Responsibilities:
*Mentor and support home carers, offering guidance and advice to ensure care is delivered to the highest standard of excellence.
*Conduct spot checks, observations and audits to ensure compliance with care plans and company policies.
*Assist with the training and development of carers, including supporting new team members during induction and ongoing training.
*Conduct regular home visits to monitor the quality of care provided, completing quarterly reviews with clients and their families to ensure care plans continue to align with their needs.
*Provide hands-on support and guidance to care staff, promoting best practice in care delivery.
*Participate in the on-call rota one week per month.
*Liaise with the Care Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration in the delivery of care.
*Monitor and report any concerns regarding client well-being or changes in their condition to the Care Manager.
*Provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes, assisting with daily tasks such as personal care, medication management, meal preparation, and mobility support.
*Build strong relationships with clients and their families, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life.
Requirements:
*Previous experience in a domiciliary care setting.
*Previous experience as a senior carer in a domiciliary care setting is essential.
*NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to lead, supervise, and motivate a team of carers.
*Be compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing outstanding care.
*Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, plus business insurance.
*You will need to live in Coventry.
