We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Braintree who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art and Design Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term position with strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:
*Deliver engaging and high-quality Art and Design lessons across KS3 and KS4
*Plan, assess and provide meaningful feedback to support pupil progress
*Adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities
*Work collaboratively with the Art and Design department on curriculum planning and enrichment
*Promote a positive learning environment that encourages reading, critical thinking and confident communication
The Ideal Candidate:
*Qualified Art and Design Teacher with QTS/QTLS (or equivalent)
*Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Art and Design
*A reflective and committed classroom practitioner focused on pupil progress
*Confident and effective behaviour management skills
*Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
*Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply - full induction support available
