A specialist ground engineering consultancy in Manchester is looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer from either a contractor or consultancy background who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role.
You will play a key role in delivering complex geotechnical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and helping lead a highly skilled technical team within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
*Leading and managing geotechnical projects from tender through to delivery
*Supervising and mentoring junior engineers and site staff
*Overseeing ground investigations and site operations
*Producing and reviewing factual and interpretive reports
*Providing technical guidance on foundation design and ground solutions
*Client liaison and project management responsibilities
*Supporting team growth and development
Requirements
*Experience in a Senior Geotechnical Engineer or similar role
*Background in either consultancy or contractor environments
*Strong technical knowledge of ground investigation and geotechnical design
*Experience managing projects and leading teams
*Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, or related field
*Full UK driving licence
